Rimi Yang the Korean born artist who has exhibited Internationally & continues to grow in stature will hold her inaugral Irish exhibition at Dublin's Sol Art Gallery. The exhibition will present over twenty five pieces of work by the Los Angeles based painter whose work adjorns the walls of Hollywoods biggest names. The official opening with a drinks reception will be held on May 5th at 630pm in the gallery on Dawson Street and will run daily until Monday 16th. Halle Berry, who owns a large number of pieces by the artist spoke of what attracted her to the work saying "When I first saw Rimi's work, I was struck by the mystery and romance of her mystical world. I now own six pieces and each one reveals Rimi's unique ability to be tender and affecting, while evoking strong emotion that constantly forces me to think and feel more deeply. Art is a huge part of my life and Rimi's work adds a a sophisticated sweetness to my collection that is all her own" ?Yang has exhibited in California, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, New York, and Ohio in the United States. British Columbia and Newfoundland in Canada. As well as Copenhagen, London and Edinburgh.
